I reread Rebecca not too long ago. I was afraid it wouldn’t be as good the second time around since I knew how it was going to end. But it turned out to be even better as a reread. Highly recommend it.

It’s like when I read the Tale of Genji last year. Except I ended up reading it in about a month instead of over the entire summer.

On another note, this does seem like the perfect fit for an eReader.

I really enjoyed the Henrietta Lacks book last summer. I found it both interesting, educational, and entertaining. Haven’t read the other ones. I haven’t read any Jane Austen since high school, over 30 years ago. Maybe I should give her another try and download one of her novels to my Kindle.

I love this meme! I might have to borrow the 10 questions for my blog next week. Additionally, I agree with your choice of Prisoner of Azkaban–it has a great adventure story, and I think it’s the only one in which Voldemort doesn’t appear! It’s still light-hearted but a little longer than the first two. Also, I am a fellow lover of Matilda. (I used to try to push things over with my mind after reading it…that never worked out!)

I totally agree as well, especially the part where you put the last one as the best. I was worried about Percy the whole way through! Heartily recommend for fun mostly, and bringing a potentially dull (per today’s students) subject to life!
