Amanda’s reviews are straightforward, funny, sarcastic, honest, and irreverent. She reads a lot of classics and makes a case for still reading them today. Her tastes are similar to my own so I love reading her thoughts.

Some Smart, Some Don’t

Scott is my brother-in-law, good friend, and the person who inspired me to get into book blogging. He also handles all my nerdy computer questions and is a yearly participator in NaNoWriMo. He, like me, will read anything, but he has a particular interest in fantasy (adult and YA) and Japanese literature.

Sophisticated Dorkiness

Kim is a journalist and grad school student who reads mostly memoirs, literary journalism, and fiction. She inspired my current book review format, and makes me want to read more nonfiction.

A blog with a few different writers focusing mostly on literary fiction and classics. They host the weekly Top Ten Tuesday meme as well.
