I’m Kathleen – 30 years old, wife to David since October 2008, dog owner and lover, mama to Meredith Susannah born July 2011, oncology nurse by day, Christian, and, of course, avid reader and book lover.
Reading is my primary hobby. I started this spinoff of my personal blog in order to devote more words to this love of mine, and to get more involved in the book blog community.
I read consistently but not incredibly fast. I don’t have a lot of spare time and much of that is taken up with other responsibilities and interests. In a good month I’ll read five books, but it’s usually more like two or three.
Genres I enjoy are literary/contemporary fiction, historical fiction, classics, memoirs, some fantasy & sci-fi, literary nonfiction, Christian nonfiction, and some young adult fiction.

My rating system is based off that of Goodreads, since I keep detailed track of my reading there.
Zero stars – Hated it or abandoned it
One star – Didn’t like it
Two stars – It was OK
Three stars – Liked it
Four stars – Really liked it
