It IS really descriptive and a bit slow at first, but it’s medieval monks, explosions, and an old fashioned murder mystery. Did I mention monks and explosions?? :)

I have a really great Max Lucado book I should lend you, it’s called “travelling light” – really helped me with my anxiety.

I’ve hear that Middlesex is pretty good. If you’re up for a non-fiction book on the topic, I would suggest The Riddle of Gender by Deborah Rudacille. Very interesting.

I read Middlesex a couple years ago. It’s not a favorite of mine, but it’s a pretty good book. After so many tries, I’ve concluded that I’m incapable of listening to audio books. I always want them to go faster or I hate the narrator or I will suddenly realize that I haven’t been paying any attention for the last 20 minutes. I listen to podcasts all the time, but I just have a mental block on audio books.
